Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, I have not been able to keep up with the blog and the forum in the past couple of months. The blog and forum MIGHT be transferred over to another person, or both might be closed completely. There will be more information as soon as the month comes to a close.
I would just like to tell everyone, THANK YOU. Thank you for the support over the past two years. Hopefully I can bring something back like this in the future, but my life is flooded with other obligations that I need to take care of.
Thank you once again.

Earlier this year we showed you the Vans x Eric Elms. Now we get a little better look on the upcoming shoe that will be releasing. The shoes look like they were constructed extremely well. I can’t wait to see these in person. Head over to Hypebeast as well for a full interview with Eric Elms himself.

Fall ‘09 is just around the corner, and Vans Vault is bringing us a new high top style. For Fall Vault is hitting us with the Hi Fi LX. Vans basically took a Sk8 Hi, and stretched it out so that the top would reach your shins. The shoe will come in a black pony hair, a zebra pattern and a gold colorway. The shoe has regular eyelets throughout the bottom of the shoe, but once it reaches the top, the hooks are similar to those of hiking boots. These will be dropping around August/September so make sure to mark your calendars.

Vans and Supreme aren’t strangers for doing collaborations together. With this new collaboration, Vans and Supreme bring in Malcom Mclaren to do a job on some V-79s. Mclaren is known for his work by forming and managing the Sex Pistols. He also worked with major designers and ran a solo music career. This time around, he is doing a set of clothes, a hat and some Vans for Supreme. The V-79s that Mclaren designed come in a pink, a yellow and an orange colorway. All feature special insoles featuring Mclaren’s album “Duck Rock” artwork. The tongue also features some touches by Mclaren and Mclaren’s name on the inner tongue. These will be available Thursday, May 21st via Supreme stores and on their website.

So we all know the success of the first 3 Feet High pack. Now Vans, HUF, DQM and Kicks Hi have decided to go at it again and make a second pack. This pack features a Half Cab with touches from each shop. The DQM Half Cab seems to feature black/houndsooth uppers, while the HUF Half Cab sticks with the snakeskin that they put on the previous Chukka, however this time in red. From the pics, the Kicks Hi looks like it features a black upper, with green and orange accents. No news on the drop date but be sure to check back for more info. If these are anything like the first pack, they will go quickly.
