Vans has been bringing the heat lately and it doesn’t look like they are stopping at all. Spring 2008 looks to be pretty remarkable with these 3 pairs of shoes. The Mountain Edition Hi is coming back with some force. There are 3 colors that are suppose to drop which are chocolate/black, black/black and pool water blue/black. Each features a checkboard pattern as well. There hasn’t been a Mountain Edition Hi in a couple seasons so these shoes will be very sought after. Be on the lookout for these come Spring 2008.

So just as I said in my previous post the new line for Syndicate has dropped. I showed the No Guts No Glory Sk8 His and the Mr. Cartoon Sk8 His. I still don’t have pictures of the Red Devil Pack or the Black WTaps but here are new pictures of the Half Cabs that dropped.
They are named the “Gusseted” Half Cabs and honestly a pretty dope shoe. Check the pictures…
The new Syndicate 006 line has dropped people. The new line consists of way more than I thought was originally dropping.
Here is a list of the new stuff that I know have dropped:
-All Black W)Taps (Sk8 Hi, Chukka, Era, Slip On)
-Mr. Cartoon Sk8 Hi (Khaki, Green, Blue)
-W)Taps x No Guts No Glory Sk8 Hi (Orange, White, Green)
-Half Cabs (Not really sure what to call them but they are soft leather with a mesh type accent) (Brown, Tan, Black)
-All Black pack with the little Red Devil heads around the shoe
Not all spots around me got them and some only got certain styles while others got different styles. I personally didn’t see the Red Devil pack but homies say them and it was the previous all black pack that I posted HERE.
Here is what I came away so far from the new Syndicate line:
The majority of Syndicate shops should have them by next week or so. Let the madness begin. Go get em!
From what we know Taka Hayashi is doing big things with Vans. He is dropping his own pack of Vans that are dropping this Winter. If you don’t remember what the pack looks like check them out HERE. If you don’t really know who Taka Hayashi, just think of those Syndicate Chukkas with the Indian guy on the back or those Simpsons Vans with Itchy & Scratchy on the side.
Anyways, along with the Taka Hayashi Pack comes 4 T-Shirts that are dropping as well. Each feature Taka Hayashi’s own design. The list of T-Shirts include the Sixty-Six Tee, the Sk8 Til Death Tee, the Eagle Talon Tee, and the Gangstar Bunny Tee. Each tee is simple with his personal work. I’m not really sure where these are dropping but I am assuming wherever the Taka Hayashi Pack will be available. If you really can’t wait for these to drop, you can cop them at ripe.

So we all know W)Taps and Vans are coming out with more shoes. The all black W)Taps pack should be dropping soon. I also posted some other colors that they are coming out. Looks like the green is confirmed or pretty close to coming out. I got a sample pair from a homie and these are straight fire. Good looking out again homie!
So not only did those come in today. Another pair of Vans that I’m sure alot of you have heard of came in today.
Gotta be happy when the mail carrier (trying to be politically correct) drops some presents off.
Halloween is just around the corner and Vans has decided to celebrate with coming out with a Halloween Pack. The Vans Halloween Pack consists of a Sk8 Hi and an Old Skool. Both feature a black/white/orange patent leather upper. Both also feature the words “Trick or Treat?” on the mid sole and a Halloween pumpkin head tag.
These shoes are extremely nice. Personally I’m not a big fan of the Halloween colors but Vans did it right. The patent leather uppers is what sets this shoe off. These are slated to release in Japan sometime this month and hopefully they hit stores in the U.S soon after that. Be on the lookout for these.

As we’ve seen before Vans is going to drop another set of Iron Maiden Vans. We now have clearer pics of the Sk8 Hi via Ben Baller. The first Iron Maiden Sk8 His had people fiending for pairs and I’m sure that this set will have the same affect on those people.
Personally these are pretty dope. I like them a lot better than the first Iron Maidens. These aren’t slated to drop until Winter/Spring but if you are wondering who is getting them, just think where you copped your first Iron Maidens and you have your answer.

Customs have always been a part of shoes but it seems now that more and more people are taking their shot with a pair of Vans. We saw RAW’s Half Cabs and now it is Ken Diamond’s Sk8 Hi. These Sk8 His are pretty detailed. One has a portrait of Mary that was hand carved on the outside panel of the shoe and on the inner side of the shoe has multiple skulls that were individually stamped in. The other Sk8 Hi features a portrait of a bird on the outer panel and diamonds on the inner panel of the shoe. Ken Diamond said that he deconstructed the shoe and then he took raw undyed leather and carved it up, stamped it and then dyed it. He said after he dyed it he glued the piece in and hand stitched everything back together.
It seems like a pretty lengthy process but nonetheless the work on the shoes is pretty dope. Good work Ken Diamond!

Plaid seems to be an alternative to every other material out there. Instead of making shoes with croc, just make it with plaid. Vans has dropped a lot of plaid shoes lately and here are more. Part 2 of the Plaid Pack features Slip Ons and Sk8 His. The colors are a lot more vibrant than the previous Plaid/Flannel pack. These Plaid joints are going to be dropping really soon or might have even already dropped at your local Vans dealers. Be on the lookout for these.
