Vans Syndicate is showing us another pack that is part of the new Syndicate line. This next pack features writer, tattooist and painter, Grime. Grime got down with a pair of Half Cabs and a pair of Slip Ons for this project. Grime placed his signature paintings all over the shoe. Even the original Half Cab logo on the side of the shoe has been transformed into Grime’s own piece of work. Grime did both shoes with the simple colors of black and white. There is no official release date, but it looks like they will be dropping in Spring as part of the new Syndicate line. Once I get some more official news, I will definitely let you know.

Once again Vans is collaborating with another great music phenomenon. Vans has created with Iron Maiden, Motorhead and Bad$hit. This time around it is Johnny Ramone’s chance to get the spotlight. Vans is doing a pair of Slip Ons with a portrait of Johnny Ramone getting down on his guitar. The Slip On also features Johnny Ramone’s signature on the toe of the shoe, as well as Johnny Ramone’s name on the midsole of the shoe. The Slip On has special insoles too. With the shoe that is dropping, a couple shirts and a pair of jeans are dropping as well. There is no word on release date but I will keep you informed when more news drops.

Vans has brought us some really good shoes this past year and it seems like they are not stopping. This upcoming year Vans Syndicate is teaming up with Pendelton Woolen Mills for their own pack of shoes under the new Syndicate line.
The pack consists of a Sk8 Hi in blue wool, a Half Cab in red wool and an Old Skool in black and grey wool. Pendelton Woolen Mills did a very impressive job on these shoes. The “Pendelton by Vans” label is a dope touch to the shoe. Just as plaid has been so hot this year, I’m glad to see that Vans did a good job on these shoes. These are slated to drop in February 2008 at Syndicate dealers, so keep an eye out for them.

Flague is one of Japan’s leading boutiques. Flague has just done a big collabo with Vans, that features the Vans infamous checkerboard print. The checkerboard print is on a Sk8 Hi this time around, with checkerboard side panels and a checkerboard midsole. Crazy thing with this shoe, is that each side panel is a different color checkerboard. These are set to release only at Flague and are suppose to come in different colors. If you are in Japan make sure to go check these out.

Monkeys seem to be a bunch of people’s favorite animal. Curious George, King Kong and the new Monkey Vans all got that same similar thing. Vans is dropping a few slip ons and authentics with a monkey print on the side. The monkey is all over the shoe and is kick pushing on a skateboard. The shoes come in red/blue/white, purple/green/white and black/white.
I ain’t really a big fan of Monkeys but these are pretty cool. The monkey on a skateboard is what sets it off. No word on release date or where to be found, but as soon as more info pops up, I’ll let everyone know.

Junya Watanabe, COMME des GARCONS designer, has collaborate with Vans. Just as we have seen, Vans is coming with some big collaborations. Watanabe has done collaborations with Levis, Converse and Lacoste. Watanabe came with a Sk8 Hi. The Sk8 Hi features an all black colorway, with leather uppers. The contrast stitching make it very simple and subtle.
As far as right now this is the only picture that has been leaked. No release date or price has been revealed but I will definetely keep everyone posted when more info comes about.

Vans looks to be liking the gold and silver colorways. Just as they dropped those gold and silver Mountain Editions, Vans is now dropping a Sk8 Hi in gold and an Old Skool in silver that features a “big tongue”. Each shoe features an oversize tongue with an oversize Vans logo as well.
It’s a pretty interesting concept but the silver and gold colorways are what is going to make people turn some heads. I am not sure if these are dropping in the US but if you want them now, they are available at ABC Mart right now.

Supreme has brought it again. Not just by themselves but with Neighborhood as well. Just as I have posted the Troops of Tomorrow Vans before, we now have official pictures of what is going to be released. 6 shoes will be released, 3 Chukkas and 3 Sk8 His. Each shoe will come in a red/black/white colorway, white/black colorway and black/black colorway. These are slated to drop at Supreme LA and Supreme NY on December 28th. Supreme and Neighborhood are bringing the heat once again!
