Kids Shoes?
I bought my 6 yo son size 10.5 shoes at Target. I am trying to now buy him shoes online & I want to get him vans. The toddler sizes don’t go up that high & the boys sizes are confusing. Any suggestion of what size to order?
That’s odd. I have a little girl and it seems that the kid sizes pick up right where the toddler sizes leave off. (size 1 in kids is just a little bit bigger than size 13 1/2 in toddlers)
I would have to see the website or an example of the sizes to give you a good answer. My best suggestion is that you have your son stand on a sheet of paper and draw a line at the back of his heel and the tip of his toes. Measure how long his foot is. Then write to the website and explain your situation. I have done it before with shoe companies and they answered me within 24 hours.
You may also check the site closely for a shoe size chart to answer this question more quickly. If that fails, check for other sites that may have better customer service and/or a size chart. And when in doubt, I always think it’s better to try to guess sizes a little big than small. He can grow into them.
If you want to just guess a shoe size … First of all, make sure you are looking at a site that has the right shoe size measurements. (US and UK sizes are different, etc…) Then just follow the numbers up. If their toddler shoes end at 9, try getting him a 1.5 or 2.
